Questions
Buying GovSites
How are we billed?
Your plan and any add-ons are invoiced once a year, net 30. Pay by ACH, check or card. Launch services are a one-time charge.
Can you send a proposal for our board?
Yes, and you can make it yourself: answer a few questions and you’ll get a priced proposal to print or share, valid for 60 days. We also provide a W-9 and a service agreement.
What if our budget isn’t renewed?
Our agreements include a non-appropriation clause, the standard protection for local governments when funds aren’t budgeted for another year.
Will the price go up?
A three-year term locks your price for all three years. At renewal, increases are capped at 3% a year.
What if we outgrow our plan, or our population changes?
Plans are suggested by population, not enforced by it. If you need more staff accounts, storage or support, you can move up to the next plan at any time.
What happens if we leave?
You own your content. We give you a full export of your pages, documents and records, and help point your domain wherever you’re going.
